The Celebration Singers of Dove of the Desert United Methodist Church is under the direction of Matt Deller, accompanied by Greg Ramsey. This volunteer group is the primary choir at 11:00 AM every Sunday during the year. We average between 40-50 choir members each Sunday. Full membership is at about 65 members and is open to anyone that loves to sing and share in fun, fellowship and faith. We praise the Lord with a variety of music from classical to gospel. Throughout the year we are blessed to have various instrumental musicians accompany us. During 2004 the Concert /Jazz Band has become a major player in the music program at Dove, fortunately we have been able to collaborate with the Concert Band on many of our Anthems and special music.

During Advent we perform with the Dove Orchestra/Concert Band a Christmas Cantata. We join voices with the women's ensemble the Dove Notes to create a lasting effect for those worship services. The tradition was started in 2003 with the plan to continue this custom every Christmas season.

The Hallelujah Chorus has become a tradition at the end of our traditional Easter services, gathering from the congregation as well as choir members. As many as 100 people join in singing this joyous celebration of Christ on the chancel.

Out of the Celebration Singers was spawned a Men's Chorus, who sing periodically throughout the year and for special church events.

We practice every Wednesday night at 7:00 PM for little over an hour, in the Sanctuary of Dove of the Desert United Methodist Church located at, 7201 W. Beardsley Road, Glendale, AZ  85308 623.572.7334.

It is not mandatory that all members sing every Sunday, just come when you can and enjoy.
